I’d be hanging in there until the Bear used Menagerie and managed to stun lock my entire party. Even with Carnage and Lightning Strikes, it was a very long fight. The main problem was the Menagerie attack.

On the attempt where I managed to slay the abomination, I used 50 Stimulants (I actually ran out), 41 First Aid Boxes, 27 Full Potions, 26 Greatest Cures, 24 Magic Charges and 23 Salvations (I probably didn’t need to use that many, but since I ran out of Stimulants, I had to use Salvations instead). After countless attempts, I managed to defeat the bear on a every slave to the Overlord-route playthrough, and, as I mentioned, it was not a New Game+. There was, however, one fight that almost made me give up-the Bear. I even defeated Erika on the first attempt. I beat Hilde and the Captain in two attempts and Zorya in three. The three different routes now have three discrete playing styles.Īll the fights are now much easier, though. The orcs are now there to run interference while the Overlord buffs himself and occasionally feed him Full Potions and Magic Charges. You succeeded in making the Overlord the main damage dealer of the group and making it feel like he almost single-handedly conquered Meniska.

They completely changed the way I played that route. Battlefield Analysis, Carnage and Limit Break are game changers. Concerning the Overlord path, it’s much better, although, this playthrough giving everyone to the Overlord was easier than my earlier playthrough of giving the minor slaves to the orcs. I used the New Game+ feature after the initial playthrough. I have played through the game three times in three different routes-every slave to the Overlord, Orc and Mistress in that order. The boss battle was also the easiest fight in the entire elven village, by far. I almost died when I had missed one archer with more than 10 attacks in a row (just RNG. Elves always go first meaning i can't get a distraction up, so their archers hit my weaker party members with those horrendously powerful triple shots, OUCH!. I just conquered the goblins and was level 10 across the board, by the time i went through the forest maze i was level 13. The suggested order was goblins, then elves, then dwarves. to the left of the ladder back up there is a wall, you can walk on it and unto the ceiling In saint asthe, go to goblin in church, go into sewer. so apparently the ability does work, just not on elves not sure if a bug or not)Ģ. Are elves just immune or is the ability broken? maybe I am too low level? (edit, I found a creature not immune to it. I used it 7 times against whole groups of elves (3 or 4) and not a single one has ever been affected. Mu the goblin has an ability called "smoke and mirrors", it is supposed to confuse all enemies. I just finished implementing it in my version of the game, and from what little playtesting I've done so far, it seems to work like a charm!ġ. So once that reincarnated god dies, he usually dies for good, and even if his cult was to be born anew latter in history, a new divinity resembling him would be born, but that wouldn't be him, because he doesn't exist anymore.

No reason not to purely eliminate concurrence. Obviously, most gods wouldn't want to accept a fallen god in their heavens/hell/whatever. Well, you see, in that world, when you die, one of a few things will happen.ġ: If, like the extreme majority of the sentient beings on this planet, you believe in a divinity, you either go to their heavens, or to their version of hell and/or purgatory if they have one (the Goddess do, and that's where the demons are currently summoned from, but a number of the Old Gods had/have only a single afterlife for everyone), depending on your actions and the mood of the concerned divinity.Ģ: In the off chance that you are a total unbeliever, you disappear for good, plain and simple.ģ: If you are a believer but the divinity you believe in doesn't want you at all, see point 2. Actually, I meant even if they'd already died, after that "walking amongst the living" phase.
